Last weekend I was at the Hay book festival in Hay-on-Wye. I attended really interesting talks by people presenting their books on Africa (Zeinab Badawi), Putin’s Russia (Guiliano da Empoli), Meritocracy (Michael Sandel) and the war in the Ukraine (Sofia Cheliak, Sasha Dovzhyk, Olesya Khromeychuk). There were no talks on the most widely read book in the world. For that you will have to come along to the Festival of Biblical Literature from 4th – 6th July!
